Trying to get a hold of EDD is one of the most frustrating things I’ve ever had to deal with… I called over 100 times today and yet wasn’t able to get through to anyone. Occasionally I would get through the first part and the automated recording would say that it was connecting my call and to please have my social security number ready, as it was “connecting” my call I would hear “due to the number of callers already ahead of you we are unable to take your call at this time, please call again later.” It’s such a let down to think that you have gotten through only to be told that you’re being hung up on. I would much rather get a busy signal from EDD than spend my time and hope listening to recordings.
